The Government Affairs Committee serves as the voice of the commercial real estate development industry in Northern Nevada. The committee is dedicated to advancing public policies that encourage responsible growth, economic development, and a strong business climate throughout the region.
Working closely with elected officials, public agencies, and community leaders, the committee advocates for legislation and policies that support commercial real estate development while providing industry expertise on issues impacting our communities. Members receive timely updates on legislative and regulatory developments, engage in meaningful discussions on emerging issues, and have opportunities to participate in the advocacy process at the local, state, and federal levels.
The committee champions priorities such as the responsible release of federal lands for development, infrastructure investment, housing and workforce initiatives, streamlined permitting processes, and policies that foster business investment and job creation. In partnership with CREDA Global and other industry organizations, the committee also monitors and advocates on federal issues affecting commercial real estate.

The Developing Leaders Committee is dedicated to engaging and empowering the next generation of commercial real estate professionals. The Golf Tournament Committee is responsible for planning and executing CREDA Northern Nevada’s annual golf tournament, one of the chapter’s premier networking and fundraising events.
